What is premature labor ?

 
Normal pregnancy is 40 weeks. Premature labor is when contractions start opening the cervix before pregnancy week 37. Consequently the baby is born premature and at increased risk of health challenges.  Eventhough the exact cause of premature labor my not be clear, certain factors may increase your risk.
