It is important that your child stays active. Strollers, bouncers and baby carriers are a great way of letting you get things done. However it does not count as an active time for your baby. It is important to make sure that your baby gets the time to roll, crawl, sit up and stand everyday.
Give your baby the necessary time to stretch. You can do this by putting the child on a play mat with toys suspended above him. This will give him the opportunity to kick and reach. This in turn makes the baby stronger and teaches him cause and effect.
I is important to give your baby a lot of supervised tummy time. This makes his muscles stronger and prepares him for sit up and crawling.
A 3 to 4 month old baby will push down if you hold him in a standing position . Make this a bonding time for you and your baby and help him sit and stand over and over again until he is tired.
