  • Fussing

How can you help your baby fall asleep ?

Not all babies know how to put themselves to sleep. Most parents want to breastfeed or rock a baby when its sleep time. It is important to establish a bedtime routine. However you have to make sure the baby doesnt fall asleep while eating or in your arms.  This may become a  habit and the baby may require to feed or be in your arm before she sleeps. If the sleeping baby  briefly awakens during the sleep cycle, she may not be able to go back to sleep on her own.

It is recommended by most experts that you allow the baby to be sleepy in your arms  and place him in the bed while still awake. This way the baby learns how to go to sleep on her own. Playing soft music while the baby is getting sleepy is a good way of establishing a bedtime routine .
