Do not  let a rainy day ruin your child’s day. There are cheap and fun activities that you can do on a rainy days. These include the following :

• Visit the library
• Tidy out the playroom
• Make music using kitchen utensils such as pots, wooden spoons, spatula and tins.
• Play board games
• Set up a home cinema and watch some fun family movies together.
• Play cards
• Bake
• Make special cards or write letters.
• Coloring
• Have a Read-a-thon. Set a  challenge to see how many books/chapters can be read during the day.
• Have a tea party or indoor picnic
• Go through photo albums
• Play dress up
• Do some craft  work
• Have an indoor treasure hunt
• Build a fort with blankets and pillows
• Have kids put on a play or show and don’t forget to record it.
• Go camping in the great indoors
