Should baby’s wear infant hat ?
When babies are delivered , they come out of a warm, moist environment ( the womb) into a chilly one. This is the reason why their heads are immediately covered with infant hat. However after the newborn leaves the hospital, they don’t need to wear the hat all the time unless its fall or winter or your house is very cold.
Healthy full term babies do not need to wear a hat once they get home. However if you feel you want to keep your baby in a hat, you can do so as long as they are comfortable. If your baby starts fussy and looks flushed or overheated while wearing the hat, take the hat of.
