Pregnancy can be exciting and overwhelming at the same time.  There are some days when the whole body seems out of control. However you have to know that hormonal changes , pressure  and weight from the growing baby can result in some uncomfortable symptoms during pregnancy. There are some symptoms that are normal during pregnancy  and other symptoms may be red flags of some complications.

Here some uncomfortable but normal changes during pregnancy .

Problematic pregnancy symptoms

Some  pregnancy symptoms may be an indication of a complication.  Call your doctor immediately when you experience these symptoms.

  • Signs of preterm labor : These signs include vaginal bleeding or spotting , unusual fluid discharge, lower abdominal cramps ,lower back pain or regular tightening of the abdomen that do not  go away.
  • Urinary problems : This is pain or burning during urination especially when you have a fever.
  • Sudden or excessive swelling : Take note for unusual swelling in the face or fingers.
  • Severe pain : This includes severe headaches and strong stomach pain or cramps.
  • Unusual rash
  • Mid back pain
  • Fever or illness :  This includes dizziness, severe nausea or vomiting or higher than normal temperature that can affect your baby.
  • Pelvic pressure : This could be normal or not. Let your doctor know.

NOTE

If you have any new symptoms or concerns  about any pregnancy symptom , call your doctor.
