Pregnant women usually maintain their beauty treatments to help them maintain their appearance and confidence. However not all beauty treatments are considered safe during pregnancy.

Pregnancy hormones can take over your body and make your body darken, overly dry or oily and prone to breakouts. These hormones can also make you hairier than you already are and result in hair in many unwanted places. However you have to know that this is temporary and think about the health of your baby. These beauty treatments should be avoided during pregnancy.
- chemical peels or facials that contain salicylic and lactic acid
- laser hair removal
- topical prescription creams
- botox injections
