Most people consider the 30s as  being the best time to be a mother. You may be well established which will give you a firm foundation in your marriage . You may also have had enough fun times with your husband. However there are pros and cons to getting pregnant at any age.

Pros of getting pregnant in your 30s

• you still have the stamina for parenting a young child
• most people in their 30s may be financially ready for having a child
• your career may be established

Cons of having a child in your 30s

• your chances of getting pregnant are slightly lower in your early 30s than 20s.  After 35, fertility begins to decide rapidly and you have increased risk of child with genetic abnormalities
• slight increase in risk of miscarriage
• cesarean rates are higher in women 35 years and older
• more likely to have ectopic pregnancy
