How is your 41 week old baby doing ?

Your 41 week old baby can sit comfortably and may even be able to walk when holding on to furniture. She may let go momentarily and stand without support. Your  baby may start taking baby steps. However if she hasn’t, do not worry. Most babies can take  baby steps around 12 months. Some babies may even wait until 18 months.

You can start introducing your family rituals  such praying before meals and celebrating birthdays to your 41 week old baby. Even though she may not understand them, repeating these rituals will contribute to a feeling of togetherness, security and family pride.

You dont necessarily have to choose existing rituals. You can come up with your own ideas and personalize your rituals.

Rituals may include reading before bedtime or family time after dinner. During holidays you have to be careful not to over stimulate your child with activities and decorations.
