This may be one of the pregnancy symptoms nobody told you about. Sweating during pregnancy is not unusual. Pregnancy can make you feel warm. This may be as a result of pregnancy hormones, metabolism and increased blood flow. Sweating is a way of your body trying to cool off.
How to deal with sweating during pregnancy.
These tips may help you
- try to avoid being outside during the hottest part of the day
- get air-conditioning or keep you room well ventilated
- drink more fluids ( at least 8 glasses of water a day)
- take cold baths and showers
- wear light layered clothing
- use talc-free powder to avoid moisture
When to call your doctor
Contact your doctor if symptoms become really annoying or uncomfortable. You should also contact your doctor if it is accompanied by symptoms such as fever, rapid heart beat or interfering with the quality of life.
