How your 7 week old baby is growing ?

Your baby is more alert and sturdy when held upright.  She may be able to lift her head and chest up for a while when on her tummy. This will help her control her head muscle. Your 7 week old baby is getting to know you more and more each day.  Keep talking to him and describe what you’re doing as you move around.

If you are planning to go back to work, you have to start thinking about daycare. The sooner you start looking, the better. You may also start looking for a nanny if that is the option you are considering. If you work from home, you still need someone  to help you with your baby.

Some new moms start comparing their baby’s  development with other babies. You have to note that babies develop at their own pace. If you have any concerns about your baby’s development, seek advice from your doctor.
