How your 13 week old baby is growing ?
Your baby has thrived so well from being touched . She loves to be touched and it is important for growth and development. Skin to skin contact is a great way for you and your baby to bond. It helps comfort and soothe her when she is upset and irritable.
It is important to take care of yourself. It is normal to easily forget about yourself while you are busy taking care of your newborn. Starting the day with a nutritious breakfast is a great way to start the day. You can use fruits and vegetables as snacks rather than nibbling on cookies and candy. You can also add other healthy snacks such as cereal bars, yoghurts and rice cakes.
If you are breastfeeding, it is important to eat a balance diet rather than going on a strict diet to help you lose weight. It is important to stay well hydrated too. Drink lots of water. You can drink herbal tea, decaffeinated coffee and low calorie fizzy drinks so far as its in moderation.
If you are involved in exercises, don’t expect to get your body back very quickly . It takes some time to regain your pre-pregnancy body.
