Your baby is 3 months old.  His joint flexibility allows him to  kick and wave more forcefully. He may also be one of the few babies who can keep himself entertained by opening and closing his fingers. Your 12 week old baby’s sense of humor is also developing. A tickle on his  tummy is likely to produce a chuckle.

The temporal lobe of your baby’s brain is also busy with activities. This part of the brain handles  hearing, some aspects of language and smell, memory and emotions. You can make the most of it by talking to your baby, playing music and reading out to him.

Are you still nervous about being  a new mom ? Are you still moody ? Are your family and friends worried that your baby blues may be something more serious. You need to see your doctor.  It could be postpartum depression. This is a real and treatable condition.
