It is without doubt that being a mom is the best thing ever. How could we not love those cute little feet, warm hugs in the morning or playing at the park for hours on end? Ok, we know that there will be many sleepless nights involved and stress levels will rise and fall as quickly as that homemade bread you are trying to master, but being a mom is just great isn’t it?
We have spoken to a few of our favorite moms to find out what they love and hate when it comes to parenting.

It is amazing sharing an absolute unconditional love with my two favorite people. I know that my husband and I share a special bond, but the love for my kids is on a whole new level. I would do anything for them in a blink of an eye as I know how much they depend on me.
The thing I hate about parenting is…
It breaks my heart to see my little ones upset. Whether they hurt themselves by falling off their bikes or are hurt by comments from their friends at school, I get such a horrible feeling in my stomach. I wish I could take their pain away at all times.

Seeing my little man’s smile every day makes me the luckiest person in the world. I love to see my boy happy, knowing that I am doing an okay job!

I got to admit that I could do with a whole lot more sleep, I have forgotten what it is like to sleep past 7 am, haha.

Quite simply, everything. I have the best job in the world.

The one thing that does annoy me a little is people trying to tell me how to parent. “Don’t do this,” “My child would not do that,” “ You need to try this,” are comments I here all of the time. I just try and remember that they are my children and I am the one who looks after them, but sometimes it does irritate me.

When we are all sit together during the weekend, cuddled up on the sofa watching a movie and forgetting about the rest of the world for the evening. We have so many giggles together, I wouldn’t change it for the world.

It can get a little tiring being the mediator when the kids start bickering. I try not to intervene too much and leave them to it, but sometimes you just have to step in and keep the peace.

All of the kisses and cuddles. Coming home to a warm hug from my little girl makes all of the worries of the day disappear

I hate having to leave her so much when I have to work. It is ok when she is at school, but weekends and school holidays means I miss her so much.

My kids amaze me how quickly they grow and learn. Seeing them crawl, walk and talk for the first time just blows me away and makes me so proud of them

Having two children close in age means that at times I feel like I am not paying either of them enough attention. I see how Joseph already gets less of my time than when I had Tate.

As my children grow, my love for them grows more and more. I am so proud at everything that they achieve and seeing them reach their goals gives me such a buzz.

I don’t hate it, but I would like more time with my husband sometimes. I guess we will have plenty of alone time when they have flown the nest, so I try not to complain too much.

The thing that I have found most difficult is dealing with outside influences, such as friends that I don’t think are right for them or Tv shows that encourage back-chat! It is hard to get the right balance between looking out for them and letting them do their own thing.
